We’re in the midst of finals and the end of the semester for college students which means it’s almost summer time in Boston. For those of you who live here or just visiting, here is your guide to the best summer activities!


Kayaking on the Charles

Want an epic view of the Boston skyline? Check it out from a kayak on the Charles River.



Picnic on Castle Island

Grab your friends,food and a picnic blanket. Spend the day at this historical site located right off the shore.


Walk the Freedom Trail

This is the perfect way to see the foundation of what this beautiful city was built on. See all of the sites and get some exercise while you’re at it!


Visit the Arnold Arboretum

You’ll forget you’re in the city when you visit this place! The Arnold Arboretum is 281 acres of beauty and the perfect place to go for a nature walk.



Beach Day at Carson Beach

This is one body of water surrounding Boston that you can actually swim in. Grab your towel and claim your spot at this South Boston beach.


Boston Harbor & the North End

Some of Boston’s best restaurants are in the North End. Treat yourself to dinner and dessert, then walk off all of the carbs along the Boston Harbor. It will be a toss-up as to which one you love more; the food or the views!


The Swan Boats

If you go to Boston and don’t ride the swan boats than did you really go to Boston? The answer is no.

Outdoor Shopping on Newbury St. & in Faneuil Hall

Boston has long winters, as we all know. Take advantage of spending time outside in shopping places like Faneuil Hall and Newbury Street.



Too hot for any of the outdoor activities? Boston is home to some of the most renowned museums on the East Coast. To name a few…. we have the Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Science, Institute of Contemporary Art and more!
